ALTERNATIVE PRESS this month

Hey Kiddies, Long time no speak...So the kind folks over at the Alternative Press magazine have named yours truly, The Transit War, among thier list of "22 bands that won't be underground for long". New Photos

We put up some new pictures from the shows with Unwritten Law in March. The photos were taken by none other than Jamie Oliver from Lostprophets. You may not know but Jamie is an amazing artist and a wonderful photographer. I think he mentioned that we are the first band he's shot. Sweet. Hope you all are enjoying life. Tee Tee Dubya

An Update of Sorts

So we've been in San Diego taking a much needed rest. We had a chance to record a new song for the Punk the Clock compilation. It is indeed an interesting song as it has a new spin on a familiar vibe. The song seems like it fits somewhere between Ah Discordia! and Miss Your Face perfectly but still seems like a positive forward moving progression. We're looking to get back on road in the late summer/early fall and are working things out to finally make it over the pond to the UK and Europe. Bring The Transit War to an international front...wierd. While we're hanging out in San Diego we hope to maybe write some new stuff. Brad will be working hard on the EVODE EYEWEAR front. Which by the way...Its summer time, now is the time to buy some shades head over to: http://www.myspace.com/evodeeyewear We plan on hitting you town around then. Well The Transit War has officially been struck by winterâ�¦ several times! As we speak we're sitting in a pizza/deli joint in Cleveland, Ohio watching the snow come pouring down, trying our best to NOT act like we're from southern California and freezing to death.

I apologize for our lack of updates or "Blogs" as I've been told to call them, but we here in The Transit War camp are so easily distracted by the flashing lights and beeping sounds of modern technology, it's just taken us a bit of time to get a handle on it. So let me see if I can't bring you up to speed on the tour thus far.

Wet, good shows, two birthdays, cold, bad shows, old friends, subwayâ�¦again, two sets of gloves, quality karaoke(spelled right?), new cases!, new friends, team Transit War going down in flames in bowling tournament, "Kittie Played Here!", food fights, Gorman, rock neck, colder, drink tickets, jam session with Until June, AIRborne, too many stairs, SNOW SNOW SNOW, getting to the club aliveâ�¦ in a nutshell folks.

So I promise we'll do a much better job of blogging(word??), but as always, drop us a line over this information super highway thing and we'll give you all the gossip you could ever want from our travels. Some good things are on the horizon so keep your eyes peeled friends, your love and support means the world to us.
